We are using public art and creativity to educate and engage communities while highlighting the significance of Juneteenth and the pursuit of Absolute Equality.

This contest is a community engagement strategy of the Absolute Equality-Juneteenth Mural Project.  Through this visual art and literary contest we are reaching and engaging broad and diverse populations of students in the dialogue about social justice and racial equality in a creative and constructive way.

Art of Equality serves as a valuable platform for promoting social justice and racial equality by empowering young minds to express themselves creatively and engage in meaningful conversations about these critical issues. Such initiatives are essential for shaping the next generation of empathetic, informed, and socially conscious individuals who can actively contribute to a more equitable and inclusive society.
